What is the Youth Advisory Group?

YDance wants to hear from young people and involve participants in making plans for the company.  We value the views and opinions of young people on what they need from YDance and the dance sector in Scotland, and we are keen to involve them in our decision-making process. 

The Youth Advisory Group provides young people who are involved in YDance projects currently or have been the chance to make their thoughts about the future development of dance in Scotland known and to help shape the future development of YDance’s programmes of work. 

YDance wants the group to reflect the views of children and young people across Scotland so are keen to hear from young people living in diverse areas of Scotland and have a range of needs and cultural viewpoints. 

You need to be aged between 16 and 25 years to be involved and have taken part or currently taking part in a YDance project. 

We want you to help decide the next steps and how this would work best for you, so come to an online “find out more” session on the 10th of November from 5-6 pm.
