Booking open for Connections Weekend

Booking is now open for the three-day intensive event – YDance Routes Connections Weekend.

Connections

Connections weekend is a fun dance opportunity for youth dance groups and individuals, of all dance styles, from across Scotland.  Dancers come together for three days to take part in different dance and choreographic workshops, and create and perform a new dance piece. Group dancers must be aged between 12 and 21, and individual dancers must be aged between 14 and 21.

NEW FOR 2017!

For the first time, there is no maximum number of people allowed in a group. If you are part of a large dance group, no worries – everyone can come!

For the first time, you will also be able to choose your own route at Connections to give you a super exciting dance journey over the three days.

The Friday will be taster sessions for all and then you will be given the opportunity to choose which of two routes you would like to follow for the Saturday and Sunday:

The Blue Route – The Choreographic Pathway – work intensively with one of three fabulous choreographers to experience their choreographic style and create a short piece.

The Red Route – The Taster Trail – Take part in back-to-back fun dance classes in many different styles. Have a go at swing, jive, contemporary, Hip Hop, to name a few!

Which route will you choose?
