We offer a range of interactive and resource based CD-ROMs designed specifically to support the Curriculum For Excellence. You don’t need any previous dance training to use them and they will help you achieve the outcomes and experiences laid out in the CFE. For use with ages 4 - 7

This easy to use CD-ROM has been specially designed to help you work with children aged 4 – 7, developing and improving their dance and motor skills.
It includes:
• animated warm-ups led by Gorf the dancing frog
• lesson notes
• workshop ideas
• useful hints and tips
• Gorf’s Groove Machine which children can use to make their own music

Science-Physical

For use with ages 8 - 11

Science-Physical is a high quality CD-ROM which offers you a multi-sensory approach to the teaching of science in primary schools.
It offers a variety of resources including:
• games
• interactive exercises
• animations
• music and video clips
• detailed lesson plans on Light and Shadow, The Body, Magnets and Springs

AnyBodyCanDance (ABCD)

For use with ages 8 - 16

AnyBodyCanDance is an interactive CD-ROM which you can use to create and save dance combinations, new music, lesson plans and choreography.
The programme contains:
• a selection of animated warm-ups
• high quality images
• video, animation and sound to encourage and inspire children
• a detailed help section is also included

The Desperate Journey

For use with age 10+

This Highland Clearances CD-ROM, based on the themes of Kathleen Fidler’s popular children’s novel The Desperate Journey, offers teachers fresh and innovative stimuli to explore Scotland’s history and traditions. By moving the lesson away from their desks, pupils can engage in the emotional and physical journey themselves, tracing the voyage through four distinct locations – The Homeland, The Journey, The City and The New Land.
