The 321 Go! CD-ROM has been specially designed for use by teachers and leaders working with children aged 4- 7. 321 Go! is hosted by a brand new character GORF, a dancing frog who demonstrates easy to follow warm ups, step by step games and class exercises.
- 321 Go! includes user-friendly instructions on how to plan lessons, create simple dance pieces and make music with Gorf!
- Lesson notes, workshop ideas, games and warm-up exercises can be printed out.
- Workshop ideas for Under The Sea, Dances of the World, World Cup Fever, Duets and Carnival of Animals with video examples and music are included.
- Audio Tracks can be played on a CD player.
- Online additional content is available FREE on the YDance website.
At the half-day / twilight (2 hour) 321 Go! in-service participants are given a short tour of the CD-ROM, and can then try out selected Warm Up exercises with the animated dancing frog - Gorf, practice some of the Games, and take part in a short workshop taken from the five themes included on the CD-ROM. Following the practical element, there is an opportunity for participants to use 321 GO! and explore how to create a dance lesson plan using the resource.
Full day and two-day in-service trainings offer participants the opportunity to participate in all of the five workshops from the CD-Rom, and explore all of the onscreen resources thoroughly. They also provide training and advice in using 321 Go! as a tool to develop teachers own ideas within the structures provided on the CD-Rom.
In-services can also be tailored to address the individual needs or requests of participants. |
